The predicted salary is between 26500 - 35000 £ per year.

You will report into the SEO Manager and help deliver a commercially focused SEO strategy across Go.Compare. You will span technical SEO, content, digital PR, and data analysis, with an emphasis on adapting to the evolving search landscape, including AI-driven search experiences and changing user behaviours.

Working within an experienced team, you will contribute to both execution and strategic direction. You will gain exposure to large-scale SEO challenges across multiple product verticals, while helping shape how SEO contributes to traffic, revenue, and brand authority. This is a hands-on role with increasing ownership, offering opportunities to test ideas, influence roadmap prioritisation, and contribute to innovation in how we approach search.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve:

  • An interest in SEO and Marketing, and its role in driving commercial performance
  • An understanding of how search is evolving, including AI-driven search experiences and their impact on SEO
  • Awareness of E-EAT (Experience, expertise, authority and trust) principles and how to apply them in content
  • Data skills, with the ability to interpret data and create relevant insights in either Google Sheets or Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Assess content quality based on user intent, usefulness, and difference
  • Collaboration skills, with your manager, but extending to other departments we work with
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/Semrush
  • Interest in automation, AI tools, or workflow optimisation
