Future is a global, data-first platform powered by technology and enabled by our trusted specialist brands, such as Tom's Guide, Marie Claire, PC Gamer, and CinemaBlend. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you occupy a strategic technical position at the heart of our data ecosystem, reporting into the Head of Data Analytics Engineering. You will architect the transition from raw data infrastructure into Data Products. These products are well-modelled, documented, and governed. They serve as the organisation's single source of truth, powering Looker dashboards, advanced machine learning models in Vertex AI, and our latest conversational analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecting High-Performance Models: You will design and deploy sophisticated data transformation pipelines using Dataform. You will lead the transition of raw data into curated, production-grade data products optimised for organisational scale and speed.

- Strategic Technical Partnership: You will act as a consultative partner to BI, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams. You will translate high‑level strategic requirements into structured data schemas, ensuring technical alignment and stakeholder consensus before development begins.
- Advancing Engineering Standards: You will champion and apply software engineering best practices to the analytics layer. This includes managing version control via GitLab, leading peer reviews, and enhancing our CI/CD workflows.
- End-to-End Delivery Leadership: You will own the full lifecycle of data product delivery. Operating with high autonomy, you will use Jira to orchestrate complex projects from initial discovery through to production, ensuring impact and transparency.
- Championing Data Trust: You will be the standard‑setter for data excellence. By implementing automated testing frameworks and observability alerting, you will ensure our data products remain reliable and trusted by downstream users.
- Enabling Data Lineage: You will build and maintain detailed documentation that illustrates data origin and transformation. Your work ensures that technical teams across the business can utilise our data assets independently and with confidence.
