Your responsibilities as a Trainee Buyer include:
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Raise purchase orders and track deliveries
- Maintain procurement records and supplier databases
- Assist supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives
- Support QS and Commercial teams with admin tasks and reporting
- Maintain records of orders, invoices, and supplier info
- Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and internal departments
- Assist with procurement schedules and project requirements
- Attend site visits and supplier meetings as needed
The ideal Trainee Buyer will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
