Our award-winning Client is seeking a Site Supervisor to join their expanding company on a full time, permanent basis. This role will require flexibility to stay away from home, and a driving licence is essential.
The Role
- Carrying out the cleaning of storage tanks (above and below ground)
- Being responsible for your team and their conduct
- Carrying out tool box talks, completing site safety checklists and confined space entry paperwork
- Maintaining the van and equipment
- Identifying issues with water quality (along with providing resolutions) - this will include recommending tank cleans, legionella testing etc.
- Carrying out remedial works and repairs when required including filter runner replacements, pipework upgrades / alterations / non-return valve installations, inlet calmer replacements, replacement of UV filtration bulbs, replacement of free-standing pressure vessels
- Being responsible for completion of RAMS and other onsite documentation
The Candidate
- A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
- Understanding of Health & Safety at work
- Happy to work towards SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS, Working at Heights, Working in Confined Spaces if not already achieved
- Computer literate (with MS packages)
- Be motivated, organised and have excellent attention to detail
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who has worked within:
- Construction industry, water industry or similar in a supervisory role

- Confined space experience
- Health and safety knowledge
- Commercial cleaning practices
- Experience leading a team
This role will involve regular overnight stays. All hotels are paid for, plus a daily food budget. You will be provided with a fully stocked van, company laptop and company mobile phone.
