The overall purpose of the Sales Engineer role will be to deliver sales margin, and increase market share to selected key Industrial OEM customers.
The Role The duties of the Sales Engineer will include the following core duties: Create and achieve sales and margin budget - focusing on portfolio of agreed customer accounts.
Monitor their performance and report on variances.
Identify and develop strategies and actions to win new customer business acquisition in line with the expectations of the UK Territory objectives.
Research, identify and qualify sufficient customer lead pipeline.
Provide an efficient and effective interface between the customer and all departments within the company's business units.
Lead cross functional relationships internally and the customer base developing extensive relationships to ensure preferred supplier status and continuous long term sales and margin growth.
Negotiate customer pricing to achieve margin target.
