Future Prospects Group are delighted to be working with our client from within the manufacturing industry who are actively recruiting for an Accounts Administrator on a part-time, permanent basis to join their team. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of purchase ledger, credit control & banking. This role offers the opportunity of training and development for the right candidate.
THE ROLE
- Manage financial transactions and bank reconciliation.
- Match delivery notes to invoices and send for approval.
- Manage PayPal account and send purchase orders to suppliers.
- Weekly data and cash forecasts for SMT.
- Process bi-weekly supplier payments and review invoices on Sage.
- Send monthly customer statements and manage expense claims.
- Handle credit control and debt recovery.
- Produce accounting reports and assist during audits/year-end.
- Month-end preparation and authorize invoices.
THE CANDIDATE
- AAT or equivalent qualification at a minimum of L2 (or working towards) - is desirable or qualified through experience.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365.
- Strong understanding of accounts functions.
- Experienced in Sage 50 (purchase/accounts and sales).
- Experienced in using online banking for business purposes.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
