We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our Lincoln based client on a Full Time permanent basis. You will be providing administration support to Senior members of the team ensuring the company is represented in a professional and courteous manner.

THE ROLE

  • Always comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules, as well as, regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Comply with the relevant compliance, Consumer Duty, T&C and financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes.
  • Preparing documentation for client meetings, packaging suitability letters, keeping the client files up to date in SharePoint, scanning and printing, keeping detailed file notes.
  • Maintaining accurate client data, policy information, and critical records using a back-office system.
  • Processing new business both online and via paper applications.
  • Responding to ad-hoc enquiries, processing letters of authorities, preparing valuations, updating platforms and providers.
  • Communicating with clients and providers via phone, email, post and occasionally face to face, assisting with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Occasionally providing administration support for local marketing initiatives.

THE CANDIDATE

  • 2 years in a Financial Services setting (pensions, investments, retirement / estate planning).
  • Excellent communication skills, a good understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Basic understanding of investments, pensions and protection.
  • The ability to learn and understand the firm's record keeping requirements and compliance procedures.
  • Good understanding of the major platforms and providers and up to date knowledge of their websites and forms.
  • Being self-motivated, efficient, thorough and forward thinking.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage several cases at once.
  • Self-organised and able to prioritise workload to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Proactive, high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
