Our Client, based on the outskirts of Nottingham, is looking to recruit a full time, permanent Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and progressive Company who are a market leader in their sector.
The Role
- We are seeking a focused and dedicated new team member to join a growing Account Management team. The primary responsibility will be to manage b2b customer accounts on a daily basis.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with customers and suppliers via telephone and email, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Process customers' bookings and requests placing those requests on our bespoke management system and ensuring orders are followed through upon our suppliers and carried out on time.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming calls for reference and documentation purposes.
- Resolve customer queries using personal initiative and with the team’s input.
- Generate custom reports using Microsoft Office software as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and legislation.
- Ensure all data on our IT systems are accurate and complete.
The Candidate
- The ideal Account Manager will be able to demonstrate the following:
- An understanding of the importance of excellent customer service and the ability to deliver it.
- IT proficiency.
- Clear and direct communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Supportive attitude towards team members and willingness to take on additional tasks during busy periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically and accurately.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.
