We’re now looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor for our Grantham based client who wants to play a meaningful role in delivering high-quality client outcomes and developing their career in a forward-thinking environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone currently working in a Legal Services environment who is looking for greater exposure, responsibility and long-term progression.
The Role
- Advising clients on all aspects of Property matters
- Preparation and drafting of all documents in relation to property matters
- Being able to see a matter from the opening of a file to closure of a file
- To be able to work independently and confidentially
- To be prepared to travel as required to clients and other offices
- Following up new leads
- To contribute to the marketing of the Legal Services Team
- Providing legal advice and assistance to existing clients, whilst developing and establishing new clients
- Managing cases at a level of complexity appropriate to your level and experience and give guidance to others in the team
- Handling commercial and potential residential property transactions from the initial client contact through to completion, such as sale and purchase of commercial/residential freehold and leasehold premises, landlord and tenant matters, acquisition and sale of property for development, and acting for pension schemes, trusts, and companies
- Providing outstanding client care at all times
- Managing cases to a high standard and in accordance with SRA requirements and the Law Society protocol
THE CANDIDATE
- A qualified solicitor
- Recent experience in UK Commercial Property, and Residential is desirable
- You can work independently, with a high regard for quality and subject matter expertise to advise our clients in all matters related to Commercial and Residential property legal matters
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel and Outlook, and database software
- You are based in the East Midlands, can commute to their Grantham office every Wednesday
