We are seeking a skilled Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join a well established family run FMCG business in County Durham. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. This role is well suited for a proactive, outgoing engineer who is ready to join a busy maintenance team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the existing plant to support production and working closely with the maintenance manager. The role * Maintenance and improvement of existing plant equipment * Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and feeding back to the maintenance manager * Production support to ensure efficient line operation * Working closely with the maintenance manager * Ensure compliance with safety regulations * Working effectively with other maintenance engineers Skills * Proven experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or industrial environments * Electrical fault finding on relay logic and industrial control circuits * Heater PID controller changers and installation * Inverter drive installation and setup * Testing and installing 3 phase induction motors * Medium to strong mechanical knowledge * Good communication skills * Knowledge of safe working practices * Ability to work on your own initiative when required Benefits * Day shift role consisting of 2 weeks: week 1 - Mon- Friday 6-2.30 ,week 2 - Mon- Thur 10-7, Fri 11-5 * Overtime available * Family run business * Long term career * Be part of an experienced maintenance team
