Commissioning Engineer in Nottingham

Overview

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality commissioning service for all newly installed products, as well as:

Responsibilities

• Providing a high-quality commissioning service for all newly installed products
• Providing installation services for full new systems and upgrades for control panels
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Attending pre-installation visits to offer advice and guidance
• Being involved in the planning process and attending handover meetings as required
• Replacing bulbs, pressure vessels, junction boxes and electrical rotary isolators
• Fault finding, pump programming and pipework upgrades
• Knowing how to build standard, single-x and combi control panels to gain a deeper understanding of their operation
• Abiding by the RAMS provided and general health and safety requirements on site

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification as a minimum
• Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft packages
• Understanding of Health & Safety at work
• Eagerness to train and willingness to work towards CSCS, Working at Heights and Confined Spaces qualifications if not already achieved
• Flexibility to travel around the UK and stay away from home up to 3 nights a week with hotels and food budget
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Personable and friendly
