We're looking for a Managing Editor to bring operational excellence to Marie Claire UK. If you excel in cross-department collaboration, strategic planning, project management, and driving measurable, KPI-smashing results across revenue, audience, and content production, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Digital Director, you'll oversee the editorial team's delivery and quality control of the content strategy, managing production across all departments: editorial, e-commerce, branded content partnerships, social, and video. You'll control and manage the editorial budget, lead all key operations aspects, and drive, monitor, and report on overall content performance. You'll also support the development of valuable audience growth, engagement, revenue diversification, and commercial opportunities, and own the content calendar planning, output tracking, and performance monitoring.

- Proven experience in an operational role, ideally within the realm of publishing
- Proven experience in analytics, e-commerce or commercial projects, and budget management
- Experience in managing and leading change initiatives by working cross-functionally across a business
- Ability to provide self-direction and calmly and clearly lead and inspire others
- Team-player attitude with a can-do spirit
