The Trade Marketing team serves as the primary marketing partner to Future's Commercial organisation. This partnership builds awareness of the Future brand and creates commercial opportunities through different means, including strategic marketing, creative storytelling, audience insights, events, and sales enablement. The team is responsible for bringing Future's portfolio of brands, audiences and capabilities to life for advertisers and agency partners globally.
As the lead designer reporting to the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you will oversee the creation of sales collateral, presentations, event branding, campaigns, thought leadership assets, insight reports and marketing communications that position Future as a market leader. The Lead Trade Marketing Designer is responsible for owning and evolving the visual identity of Future's commercial brand globally. This role leads the creative development and execution of high-impact marketing assets that support commercial growth, brand awareness and client engagement across both the UK and US businesses.
You will act as the guardian of Future's commercial brand guidelines, ensuring consistency, quality and excellence across all outputs. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Trade Marketing, Commercial, PR, Insights and Leadership teams, you will translate complex commercial propositions into compelling visual stories. This role also includes line management responsibilities, supporting and developing Trade Marketing design resources while helping to establish best practices, processes and creative standards across the function.

- Experience delivering brand-building design within media, publishing, advertising, technology or agency environments.
- Experience leading creative projects across multiple brands, channels and stakeholder groups.
- Experience delivering brand-building collateral - designing marketing materials for revenue-generating teams.
- Experience creating high-impact collateral for revenue-generating teams, including sales enablement materials and strategic presentations.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspace, particularly Google Slides.
- Experience designing across multiple formats including digital, social, email, print, events and presentations.
- Understanding of HTML and email design principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders and international teams.
