Overview

In this role you will translate complex customer, marketing and financial data into clear commercial strategies for Future’s multi-brand subscription business.

You will oversee analytics across customer lifetime value, acquisition economics, churn and pricing, partnering with Marketing, Finance, BI and Strategy to drive revenue and profitability.

You will work with SQL, Big Query, Excel and Google Sheets to build models and uncover growth opportunities, while mentoring analysts to strengthen the analytics function.

This is a cross-market role (UK/US) with a focus on data-led innovation and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee subscription analytics including LTV, acquisition economics, churn and pricing models
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance and Strategy to link customer metrics to revenue and profitability
  • Build sophisticated commercial models in Excel or Google Sheets to guide decisions
  • Analyze large datasets with SQL and Big Query to identify growth opportunities
  • Mentor and coach analysts to elevate technical and strategic capabilities
  • Present commercial narratives and recommendations to senior stakeholders in UK and US
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve acquisition, retention, pricing and profitability
  • Translate data insights into actionable business strategies
  • Key requirements
  • Proven experience turning complex customer and financial data into strategic recommendations
  • Understanding of subscription metrics like LTV, cohort analysis, retention rates
  • Ability to break down ambiguous commercial challenges into analytical frameworks
  • Experience communicating technical insights to non-technical partners
  • Experience guiding or managing analysts
  • Familiarity with AI tools to streamline workflows
  • Experience in commercial, customer, or growth analytics
  • Hands-on SQL, Big Query or similar querying proficiency
  • Advanced modelling in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Track record working with marketing, financial, or transactional data
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in London or Bath
