What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to the Email Marketing Manager, this position is designed to help deliver first class customer-centric email marketing campaigns for our global titles including The Week UK & US, MoneyWeek, The Week Junior UK & US and Kiplinger. This role is central to meeting targets around customer engagement and experience, with a focus on the email marketing channel.

The Email Marketing Executive develops first class email campaigns, monitoring email quality, segmentation and supporting the CRM team to ensure that customer journeys are optimised to deliver the best user experience and conversion possible through the email marketing channel.

The Email Marketing Executive will also help deliver important omni-channel acquisition projects through Selligent (ESP) and support automating journeys through BlueConic (CDP). You will support driving total new orders, increasing engagement and optimising known user lifecycles by maximising data, testing and cross-sell/up-sell strategies.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Experience, enthusiasm and an understanding for CRM, Marketing and Subscriptions
  • Experience with customer journeys and relationships and audiences from a customer-first perspective
  • Experience with marketing best practices, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance, and email deliverability.
  • Experience with ESPs is desirable
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is preferable
