As a global digital publisher, we are actively helping commercial partners understand and improve their visibility across these emerging search environments.
Reporting to the SEO & GEO Innovation Manager, you will act as the strategic day‑to‑day lead for a portfolio of GEO campaigns, working directly with clients to help them understand, measure and improve their discoverability across both traditional and AI‑powered search experiences. This is a client‑facing role that combines SEO expertise, commercial awareness and strategic communication. You’ll work closely with optimisation specialists, analysts and commercial stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully, insights are communicated clearly, and clients understand the value of the work being undertaken.
While account management is a core part of the role, this is first and foremost an SEO specialist position. We’re looking for someone who can confidently discuss technical SEO, content strategy, search visibility and emerging search trends with clients, while acting as a trusted advisor in a fast‑changing landscape.
What you’ll be doing

- Leading regular client meetings, performance reviews and strategic discussions
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted advisor on SEO and emerging search visibility
- Translating complex SEO and GEO concepts into clear, actionable recommendations
- Guiding clients through an evolving search landscape and helping them understand campaign performance and outcomes
- Ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and aligned to agreed objectives
- SEO & GEO Strategy
- Analysing campaign performance and visibility trends across traditional and AI‑powered search environments
- Monitoring visibility trends across AI‑powered search experiences including ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode
- Interpreting data and insights to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Working closely with the optimisation team to develop and implement recommendations
- Helping clients understand how authoritative content is surfaced within AI‑powered search experiences
- Monitoring developments across search and generative AI platforms and sharing relevant insights with clients and internal stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of best practices for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
- Commercial Support
- Supporting new business opportunities by contributing GEO expertise to pitches and proposals
- Producing analysis and insight for prospective client opportunities
- Working alongside commercial teams to articulate campaign approaches and expected outcomes
- Supporting long‑term client success through effective campaign delivery and clear communication of results
Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an SEO‑focused role
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimisation and search performance measurement
- Experience presenting SEO insights, recommendations and performance updates to clients or senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using industry‑standard SEO tools including GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, peec.ai, Screaming Frog and similar platforms
- Confidence analysing data and translating findings into actionable recommendations
- An interest in AI, emerging search experiences and the future of content discovery
- Experience managing multiple projects or client relationships simultaneously
- Comfortable working in an environment where experimentation, learning and iteration are key
