Overview
In this role you support Future’s digital content monetization by managing the Advertising Waterfall and analysing revenue opportunities across UK and US markets. You’ll build and update financial models in Google Sheets and Excel, prepare month-end insights, and partner with cross-functional teams to guide commercial strategy. You contribute to budgeting cycles and reporting accuracy, helping drive sustainable revenue growth. This is a hybrid, data-driven role that combines finance with operational partnering to shape monetization.

Responsibilities
- Manage and update the Advertising Waterfall model to track impression volumes, pricing yields and revenue trends
- Analyse Display Advertising revenue and cost of sales through financial models and reporting
- Prepare month-end performance summaries and support annual budgeting cycles
- Collaborate with Ad Operations, BI and Operations teams to evaluate inventory capacity and identify monetization opportunities
- Review month-end management accounts and compare actuals to forecasts and prior results
- Provide commercial guidance to operational teams and act as finance partner across the business
- Support production of budgets, forecasts, and ongoing financial estimates
- Enhance data reporting with BI teams and ensure reporting accuracy across functions
Key requirements
- Commercial finance experience or background analysing revenue, costs, or audience metrics
- Experience building financial models or working with large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Bath head office (hybrid)
- Practical understanding of forecasting, budgeting, or month-end reporting processes
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving to resolve data discrepancies
