The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.

This includes in pay management and our journey towards pay transparency, rethinking our approach to our performance pay schemes and reinvigorating our benefits and recognition through benchmarking and actively listening to our people’s needs whilst maintaining our overall focus on affordability.

Responsibilities & Key accountabilities

We are seeking an experienced Reward Analyst who can support in the delivery of change projects whilst continuing to meet the flexibility required and the high standards demanded in delivering our day‑to‑day activities. Working collaboratively with our other Reward Analysts, you will support a team of Reward Specialists and Senior Reward Managers in delivering our busy annual cycle of compensation, benefits and recognition activities. You will have experience of working in a Reward environment and able to demonstrate a strong depth of knowledge around remuneration analysis, pay surveys and job levelling. You will have intermediate to advanced excel skills, experience of benefits benchmarking as well as managing and communicating benefits and recognition in a large complex organisation and managing and analysing large quantities of data and clearly communicating your findings. Knowledge of PowerBI is also highly desired.

This role will support across all areas of compensation and benefits undertaking data analysis, research, benchmarking, supplier management and presenting findings from these activities in a clear and meaningful way. You will also be supporting the delivery of pay gap reporting and annual pay and performance processes across TfL.

The management and manipulation of large data sets (normally in MS Excel or PowerBI) that enable various Reward processes and activities to be undertaken. Supporting key BAU processes such as the annual pay reviews across a number of different pay frameworks, pay planning and pay structure maintenance, remuneration committee paper development, strategic pay audits and pay gap reporting.

Benchmark, research and investigate through pay and benefits surveys and participation in external Reward forums, analysing and evaluating internal and external information to support the improvement of market benchmarking. Support the development of pay structures through the analysis of external market data to recommend pay range values and structure design that is appropriate for TfL's requirements. Produce clear, relevant analytical data to support the delivery of our pay gap reporting. Design, develop, implement and maintain a reward dashboards that provide current, clear and concise information relating to all aspects of Reward within TfL. Work with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of key benefits and recognition processes, including cycle to work salary sacrifice, private medical benefit and electric vehicle salary sacrifice Scheme. Support the continuous development and maintenance of SharePoint Reward Hub to ensure clear access for employees across TfL to products. Support in the management and relationships with 3rd party suppliers including contractual, commercial and procurement activities as well as supplier invoicing, purchase order management and accruals.

What you can offer us

Your proven advanced excel skills for complex modelling, data management, advanced formulas, pivot tables and use of PowerBI as well as being highly analytical and numerate with experience of analysing and interpreting data and clearly communicating findings. Your knowledge of interrogating data to understand problems and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations to the business. Proven experience of pay survey submission and results analysis, preferable to have experience of using Willis Towers Watson MDS survey. Your understanding of employee benefits including voluntary schemes, tax efficient salary sacrifice and benefit in kind arrangements. Beyond your proven Reward expertise, your desire and ability to work collaboratively with your colleagues in Reward as well as more widely across our People function is a pre‑requisite for success. You will enjoy working together as a team of experts and sharing knowledge as well as being organised with experience of managing a varied workload to tight timescales.
