Overview of Project/Role
The day‑to‑day operation of Engineering Vehicles, Rail Borne Plant including loading materials and unloading materials as required, loading and unloading at the worksite and Ruislip Depot. Adhere to the agreed standards of safety, quality and reliability, to meet the units service requirements and meet safety, quality and productivity targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Loading and Unloading activities Engineering Trains and Road Vehicles.
- To work in conjunction with the Engineering Vehicle Operations - Logistics and Maintenance.
- Working as part of a team engaged in Loading and Unloading of Vehicles on both loading Bays at Ruislip Depot and On‑site.
- Carry out on site operation of Engineering Vehicles Rail Borne plant.
- Carry out on‑site operation of Long Welded Rail Train - End Loading Unit - ELKs - Cranes.
- Loading, unloading of all Engineering Vehicles around the combine.
- Undertake Site Person In Charge (SPC) duties including loading and unload vehicles from any location required on the LU Network.
- To operate manual handling equipment and (WAH) working at heights on‑site and at Ruislip Depot.
- To actively liaise with the Loading Chargehands and EV logistics Manager to ensure that all loading activity is performed to the agreed standard.
- Loading and unloading carried out to the required standards of safety, quality and reliability, service requirements.
