Overview of project/role: Reporting to a Comms DLO Work Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that the Comms DLO Assets are maintained and delivered into service in a safe and timely manner. In addition, you support other LUL business units as instructed by their Line Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • The job holder must be committed to LUL’s General Safety Policy statement and the Company’s safety programme, monitoring safety performance and compliance with established systems.
  • The jobholder must be familiar with relevant safety legislation and comply with statutory requirements.
  • Collect and verify all required information relevant to assigned tasks.
  • Escalate any missing or incomplete information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare and organise all necessary tools, equipment, and materials before work.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and materials to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly within own level of responsibility.
  • Escalate any complex problems or deviations that cannot be resolved independently.
  • Follow established processes and procedures to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Accurately update and utilise systems such as the Fieldreach Asset Database and Field Data Manager.
  • Take corrective action to repair or rectify defective assets where required.
  • Complete all documentation in line with company standards and procedures.

  • Understanding of maintenance in an engineering discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of LU Comms equipment.
  • A basic knowledge providing support functions to maintenance activities.

Experience:

  • LUCAS Card or (On Line Assessment).
  • Lifts and Escalators Entry Permit (Desirable).
  • Full Driving Licence (Essential).
