The predicted salary is between 42000 - 84000 £ per year.

The Electrical Designer will report into their Lead Electrical Engineer. When assigned to a Project, the role will involve the production of a wide range of electrical deliverables and will also report to an Electrical Engineer for that Project.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proven ability to liaise with clients and contractors/installation teams, on and off site.
  2. Adhere to client applicable standards and processes.
  3. Preparation of electrical engineering documentation, inclusive of drawings in AutoCAD format, electrical calculations, schedules, technical reports and risk assessments.
  4. Ensure electrical design work and installation conforms to Standards, Regulations and Health & Safety.
  5. Coordinate electrical documentation with that produced by other disciplines to ensure inter-discipline compatibility.
  6. Provide necessary engineering inputs to other disciplines and departments.
  7. Plan personal workload to ensure deliverables are met on time, on budget and in accordance with the Company and project HSEQ systems.
  8. Ability to accurately estimate time required to complete drawings and documentation for a project.
  9. Provide weekly project and workload progress updates to Lead Electrical Engineer.
  10. Undertake site surveys on their own with or without client supervision.
  11. Attendance of project meetings, both in office and on site, when required.
  12. A willingness to always look for personal, company and system improvements.
  13. Keep up to date with technical developments and design standards.
  14. Able to travel to and from work on a number of client sites as necessary, inclusive of overseas and offshore.
