Registered Manager – Lead a New Therapeutic Children's Home

Future Horizon Care is seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead the launch of our first therapeutic children's home.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the culture, values and future of a brand-new service from the ground up.

We are not looking for someone simply to manage a home.

We are looking for a leader who believes children can recover from trauma when they experience stability, trust, consistency and genuine therapeutic relationships.

The successful candidate will combine excellent safeguarding, leadership and regulatory knowledge with the emotional intelligence needed to create a home where children feel safe, valued and able to thrive.

What You Will Do

Lead and manage all aspects of the children's home

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards

Build, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team

Create a therapeutic, nurturing and aspirational culture

Drive positive outcomes in education, health, emotional wellbeing and independence

Develop strong relationships with local authorities, professionals and families

Prepare the home for Ofsted inspections and work towards achieving a Good or Outstanding judgement

What We Are Looking For

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting

Strong leadership and staff management experience

Excellent safeguarding knowledge

Thorough understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

Full UK driving licence

Experience within a therapeutic or trauma-informed service

Experience opening a new children's home

Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes

Β£53,000 – Β£65,000 salary dependent on experience
