Owing to our continued success, Future Group is looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our team as a Data Cabling Engineer, to assist with the successful delivery of projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career in telecommunications or an experienced engineer who is looking to continue progressing their career with a market leader.

Please note there is travel and working away from home required as part of this role with accommodation provided by Future Group.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Carrying out structured cabling installations including Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre Optic and Audio Visual cabling across a range of industries.
  • Manage all testing and termination of cabling systems.
  • Manage all fault finding and troubleshooting of faults.
  • Installation of various audio visual and network equipment.
  • Ensure safe practices are carried out at all times.
  • Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder's appropriate skill set.

  • Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day to day workloads within a busy environment.
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication and ability to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions.
  • Driven, with an ability to work individually and with teams under your direction.
  • Innovative thinking, with an ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
