Requirements
This is a key role for someone with experience in Health & Safety and a passion for compliance. You’ll support the Group in maintaining best practices across our divisions, covering fire safety, electrical, lighting, EV charging, smoke control and more. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll help manage our certifications, support audits, and be a day-to-day champion for a safe, compliant, and accountable working culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety, Compliance, or Facilities role.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or working towards).
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in building services, construction, property management, or similar sectors.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator who can work across departments and with external parties.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g. ISO45001) and assist with audit preparation.
- Help manage and maintain internal Health & Safety policies, procedures, and documentation in line with legislation and best practice.
- Assist with risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), incident reports, and accident investigations.
- Support fire safety, electrical safety and other regulatory compliance measures across all business divisions.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and clients to support site audits and documentation.
- Monitor and report on compliance performance data and KPIs.
- Help ensure all certifications, accreditations and training records are up to date (e.g. CHAS, SafeContractor, SSIP, NICEIC etc).
- Work closely with operations teams to embed compliance best practices into everyday activities.
- Support tender submissions and PQQ responses requiring H&S/Compliance input.
