Owing to our continued success, Future Group is looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our team as a Fibre Network Operative, to assist with the successful delivery of projects throughout the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career in telecommunications or an experienced engineer who is looking to continue progressing their career with a market leader.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Installation of connectorised block terminals within underground and overhead networks.
  • Carry out all testing of rodding and roping within existing duct networks.
  • Manage all splicing and testing of fibre in underground and overhead networks, ensuring all requirements within the passive optical networks are completed.
  • Ensure safe practices are carried out at all times, ensuring works are completed to Openreach requirements.
  • Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder's appropriate skill set.

What Do You Need?

  • Valid SA001 and SA002 ticket (Desirable).
  • Demonstrable experience of working within the Openreach network (Desirable).
  • Previous experience working in underground and overhead fibre cabling.
  • Driven, with an ability to work individually and with teams under your direction.
  • Innovative thinking, with an ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
