An award-winning, independent planning consultancy in Central London is seeking a Principal or Associate Planner to join their expert team. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping some of London’s most ambitious and transformative projects.

The Role

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Lead the planning strategy and delivery for major mixed-use, residential, commercial, and regeneration projects in London
• Manage high-level client relationships and multi-disciplinary teams
• Prepare and negotiate complex planning applications and appeals
• Provide expert input on Local Plan representations and policy matters
• Contribute to the business through mentoring junior team members and supporting growth initiatives

You\’ll work alongside a respected team known for delivering results on landmark schemes across Central London and other major areas across the UK.

About You

We’re looking for a highly capable planner who:

• Has 5+ years’ experience in town planning (ideally within a consultancy environment)
• Is MRTPI qualified
• Has experience managing medium to large-scale projects, ideally in London or another major UK city
• Has excellent knowledge of the UK planning system, strong communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is confident leading client discussions and project direction
