This company specialises in the servicing, maintenance, repair, and welding of plant and machinery across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Plant Engineer to join their team in Wellingarden. Your Role As A Plant Engineer Will Include:
- Carrying out day-to-day servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of plant and machinery
- Fault-finding and breakdown repairs across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Working on excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, crushers, screeners, and general plant equipment
- Completing both scheduled maintenance and reactive repair work
- Attending site breakdowns when required using a fully equipped company van
- Welding and fabrication work where required (advantageous but not essential)
- Accurately completing job reports and communicating with the workshop team
As A Successful Plant Engineer You Will Have:
- 4+ years' experience working on plant, construction machinery, or diesel equipment
- Strong mechanical background with electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Confidence working independently in the field and as part of a workshop team
- A full UK driving licence
- A strong willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to a close-knit team
