You'll work alongside experienced Project Engineers and Project Managers, giving you plenty of support while taking ownership of your designs and seeing projects progress from concept through to manufacture and installation.

Join a long-standing BMS and controls specialist, recognised as one of the biggest control companies in Ireland. The company designs and supplies control panels and BMS systems controlling boilers, pumps, air conditioning and energy usage within buildings.

As a Design Engineer, you'll become part of a close-knit team with strong staff retention, experienced colleagues and a genuine opportunity to progress your career.

The Role:

  • Producing detailed CAD drawings for control panels and BMS projects
  • Designing control panel layouts and electrical/control schematics
  • Working closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers
  • Developing designs based on customer requirements and project specifications
  • Making design amendments and revisions where required
  • Preparing drawings for manufacture
  • Ensuring designs meet project requirements and technical standards
  • Liaising with engineers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting multiple projects at different stages

The Person:

  • Previous CAD Design, CAD Engineer or CAD Technician experience
  • Experience within engineering, electrical, mechanical, BMS or controls environments
  • Confident using CAD software
  • Able to understand technical drawings and engineering specifications
  • Electrical or Building Services knowledge advantageous but not essential
