Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a motivated mechanic from a car background who is keen to develop into HGV diagnostics, servicing, and repairs within a busy, professional workshop environment.
Your role as a Mechanic will include:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repairs of commercial vehicles and HGVs
- Supporting diagnostics and fault finding on heavy vehicles
- Working alongside experienced HGV technicians to develop new skills
- Carrying out inspections, safety checks, and workshop duties
- Learning manufacturer standards and commercial vehicle systems
- Gaining hands-on training across a wide range of HGV equipment
The successful Mechanic will have:
- Background as a car technician / automotive technician / vehicle mechanic
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Willingness to learn and progress into HGV / commercial vehicle work
- Full UK driving licence
- Live commutable to Nottingham or surrounding areas
