Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a motivated mechanic from a car background who is keen to develop into HGV diagnostics, servicing, and repairs within a busy, professional workshop environment.

Your role as a Mechanic will include:

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repairs of commercial vehicles and HGVs
  • Supporting diagnostics and fault finding on heavy vehicles
  • Working alongside experienced HGV technicians to develop new skills
  • Carrying out inspections, safety checks, and workshop duties
  • Learning manufacturer standards and commercial vehicle systems
  • Gaining hands-on training across a wide range of HGV equipment

The successful Mechanic will have:

  • Background as a car technician / automotive technician / vehicle mechanic
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Willingness to learn and progress into HGV / commercial vehicle work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Live commutable to Nottingham or surrounding areas
