This is an opportunity to become one of the first Social Value Leads within a leading international general contractor, playing a key role on one of the UK's largest and most high-profile construction projects.
Working on the construction of a landmark construction facility in Somerset, you will be responsible for driving the project's social value strategy, ensuring the development leaves a lasting positive impact on the local community throughout the construction lifecycle and beyond.

As Social Value Lead, you will work closely with project leadership, local authorities, education providers, community groups, subcontractors and supply chain partners to maximise the economic, environmental and social benefits generated by the project.
Your Role as Social Value Lead Will Include
- Developing and delivering the project's social value strategy.
- Building strong relationships with local communities, councils, schools, colleges and employment organisations.
- Working with subcontractors and supply chain partners to maximise local recruitment and procurement opportunities.
- Monitoring and reporting social value performance, including local employment, community engagement and economic impact.
- Supporting sustainability and ESG objectives across the wider project team.
As Social Value Lead You Will Have
- Experience delivering social value, community engagement, CSR, ESG or sustainability initiatives within construction, infrastructure or major projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to engage subcontractors and supply chain partners to deliver measurable social value outcomes.
- Passion for creating long-term positive impacts within local communities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
