Do you want to join a privately owned building services consultancy where there is no corporate ceiling and your progression is determined by your ability and ambition? This is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to take responsibility for high-quality building services designs while progressing towards Associate, Director and potentially Managing Director level.

Join an established and growing M&E consultancy with a strong forward order book and long-standing client relationships. The company works across healthcare, commercial, residential, education, leisure, hotels, retail and industrial developments, giving you exposure to a varied portfolio rather than restricting you to one sector.

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will independently lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects. You will work directly with clients, coordinate with mechanical engineers and wider project teams, and provide technical guidance to developing engineers within the business.

Your Role as Senior Electrical Engineer Will Include:

  • Leading the electrical building services design and delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Producing detailed designs, specifications, calculations and technical drawings across the relevant RIBA stages.
  • Designing power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, data, security and building control systems.
  • Attending client meetings, design reviews, site surveys and project inspections.

The Successful Senior Electrical Engineer Will Have:

  • Building services consultancy experience.
  • The ability to independently manage designs and take responsibility for project delivery.
  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant UK regulations, design standards and industry guidance.
