You’ll have a hands-on presence across the factory, identifying risks, improving processes and ensuring high standards of health & safety are maintained throughout the operation.
Your Role As Health & Safety Advisor Will Include:
- Drive and promote a positive Health & Safety culture across the site
- Carry out risk assessments, inspections and safety audits
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Review and develop safe systems of work and H&S procedures
- Support machine safety, COSHH, manual handling and workplace transport
- Deliver Health & Safety training and toolbox talks
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and site management
- Monitor H&S performance and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company standards
As A Health & Safety Advisor You Will Have:
- Health & Safety experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or a similar environment
- NEBOSH qualified or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Comfortable working hands-on within a busy manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and influencing skills
