This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing international main contractor delivering major projects worth billions across the UK and Europe. Based on a flagship project in Somerset, you will take a senior leadership position responsible for the successful delivery of significant CSA works, overseeing the project from planning and procurement through construction and final handover.

You will be trusted to run your part of the project as a business, building and leading high-performing teams while maintaining relationships with the client, supply chain and wider project leadership. Your role as Project Director - CSA will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major CSA packages
- Leading construction teams across civil, structural and architectural disciplines
- Managing Senior Project Managers, Construction Managers, Package Managers and engineering teams
- Taking ownership of programme, commercial performance, quality, safety and project delivery
- Driving the project from pre-construction and procurement through construction, completion and handover
- Managing major subcontractors and ensuring performance against programme and contractual requirements
- Working closely with MEP, design, commercial, planning and commissioning leadership
- Building strong relationships with the client, consultants and key project stakeholders
- Identifying project risks early and making fast, commercially focused decisions
- Reporting directly into senior business leadership on project performance
- Developing the project team and identifying future leaders within the business
- Supporting future project mobilisation as the company's UK and European pipeline continues to grow
The successful Project Director - CSA will need:
- Extensive experience delivering major CSA packages for a main contractor
- Project Director, Construction Director or senior project leadership experience
- Strong civil, structural and/or architectural construction knowledge
- Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams and major subcontract packages
- Strong commercial, contractual and programme awareness
- Experience dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Ability to take full ownership and make decisions in a fast-moving project environment
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing successful project teams
- Ability to work site-based in Somerset
