The Role of the Electrical Design Engineer Will Include:
- Producing detailed electrical designs and engineering drawings for control and automation systems
- Creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel designs
- Working closely with controls, software, instrumentation and project engineers
- Selecting electrical components and ensuring designs meet relevant engineering standards
- Commutable to the Norwich site
The Successful Electrical Design Engineer Will Have:
- Previous experience within Electrical Design within Automation or Control Systems
- HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience using electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar
- Experience as a senior design engineer or keen to emerge into this role
- Background working with industrial machinery, production equipment or similar
- Ability to lead projects and support or mentor junior engineers
- Commutable to the office in Norwich
