The Role of the Design Engineer Will Include:
- Designing bespoke packaging machinery and automated equipment
- Producing detailed engineering drawings and design documentation
- Working on both new machine designs and modifications to existing equipment
- Creating 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Working closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, production and commissioning engineers
The Successful Design Engineer Will Have:
- Previous experience within a Design Engineer or similar engineering position
- Experience using 3D CAD software
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
- Experience working within a manufacturing, machinery, automation or packaging environment would be advantageous
