We are currently looking to employ a Future Acquisitions Initiative BDM to join our EMEA team which will be remote based but reporting into our Egham Office. Job Outline: The prime responsibility of the role is to evaluate customer current product lines and proposed strategies to effectively position Future’s Franchised product lines to achieve a specific component-system solution and demand creation ownership. Measurements for the role are based upon demand creation metrics, inclusive but not limited to registrations and design wins on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The role requires a high level of interaction with all personnel within the branch but specifically with Field Application Engineers.

What the role involves:

  • Map the customer. Decision makers, Key people, customer’s needs, key success factors and identify what are the customer’s tiebreakers / buttons.
  • To be the prime in the establishing the suggested complete costed Bill of Materials for the customer’s project. This will include the overview of the project and ensuring the effective discussion and sampling of product parts.
  • To maintain a strong professional and interactive relationship with the Field Application Engineers within the region, to ensure a clear synergy is achieved on customer projects / designs.
  • Ensure a high level of service by being responsive to the end customers’ needs.
  • To be involved in the CEM selection and actively pursue and initiate effective interface with the sales personnel who are working with the possible CEM’s.
  • Imperative to retain communication with the sales personnel aligned to EMS customers throughout the design cycle to be positioned to capture orders in an efficient, timely and commercially viable manner.
  • Selectively present product lines within the Future Distribution stock to CEM’s to ensure product procurement is achieved.

Do you have:

  • Ideally educated to degree standard in Electronic Engineering with a proven sales track within the company or other electronic distribution business.
  • Proficient in understanding / associated application of customers products; commercial and technical strategies; ability to visualise opportunity for specific component solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Commercially astute, highly organised, and self-motivated focused on achieving end result.
  • High level of accuracy, able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Able to work under own initiative and as a member of the team.
