Future Electronics is currently looking to employ a Marketing Communications Specialist at our EMEA HQ in Egham, Surrey. The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication strategies that promote the organisation’s brand, products, and services. This role ensures consistent messaging across all channels and helps drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and business growth. The role will work closely with the Events Manager for EMEA and the global corporate office to ensure alignment in event planning and the use of media tools. Effective communication skills are essential to clearly articulate plans and enable others to effectively support the company’s positioning through social media. The role plays a vital part in delivering consistent, impactful messaging that maximises engagement opportunities. As a key contributor within a service-driven department, this position supports both the leadership team and managers, helping to extend the company’s reach in line with the strategic business plan.

What the role involves:

  • With the support of the MarCom Manager, develop and implement an integrated marketing communication plan which aligns the messaging to the business objectives.
  • Support the Event Manager with the planning and promotion of events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Create promotional materials and coordinate communication logistics.
  • Develop a clear and effective tool to follow through on leads generated at Company supported events.
  • Write and edit high-quality content print collateral and ensure social media sites within EMEA are clearly supported.
  • Actively demonstrate a level of creativity in assigned tasks.
  • Maintain event calendars and ensure timely updates.
  • Develop internal newsletters, announcements, and support Corporate presentations.
  • Build and manage relationships with media agencies and key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams in Montreal on email campaigns, SEO, social media, and website content.
  • Track engagement metrics and work with MarCom Manager to optimise communication strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice, style, and visual identity across all communications.
  • Manage brand guidelines and advise internal stakeholders on usage.

Do you have:

  • Ideally educated with a Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, journalism or a related field. A level of experience in a similar marketing or communications role would be beneficial.
  • Level of proficiency in content management systems, possessing clear writing and editing skills, fluent in the use of software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with an ability to analyse data and define mediums for communication effectiveness.
  • Able to multitask, adapt and act effectively within a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are maintained.
  • Can project-manage workload to cover the scope of large and small projects effectively.
