Job Outline:
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s communication strategies across the EMEA region. This role plays a critical part in enhancing brand awareness, supporting business goals, and ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging across all internal and external channels.
Operating within defined budgetary guidelines, the role also includes oversight of co-funded marketing initiatives, ensuring proper coordination with external suppliers and accurate collection of campaign contributions. The manager will drive the creation of compelling content, manage media relations, oversee campaign execution, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to boost visibility and engagement. Success in this position requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to position the company in the most marketable light, generating positive publicity, expanding brand presence, and contributing to revenue growth through effective, aligned, and well-executed marketing communications.
What the role involves:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing communications strategies aligned with business objectives which supports corporate reputation, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Executive Leadership to ensure message consistency and alignment.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content across platforms: website, social media, email campaigns, blogs, internal comms, and print collateral.
- Ensure content reflects the brand voice, engages target audiences, and supports lead generation or conversion goals.
- Manage social media strategy and oversee the content to increase engagement, followers, and brand visibility.
- Review the use of analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and adjust tactics based on data insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, suppliers, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Coordinate media outreach and monitor press coverage, ensuring positive brand representation and timely responses during crises or high-impact events.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Track campaign performance against KPIs and prepare post-campaign reports with actionable goals.
- Partner with leadership to drive internal communications strategies that support employee engagement and culture.
- Develop internal newsletters, announcements, presentations, and messaging for all-company initiatives and leadership updates.
- Oversee workflow, project timelines, and budget allocation for the marketing communications function.
- Keep abreast of all product, franchise and market developments.
- Provide a first-class customer service level to all internal and external customers.
Do you have:
- Graduate level education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in in marketing communications, with proven leadership or team management experience, ideally on a European or international arena.
- Clear level of appreciation of electronics and/or electronic distribution industry.
- Hold a portfolio of successful campaigns, media coverage, and/or brand development project
- Commercially astute, highly organised and initiative-taking.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder, able to relay a clear strategic and creative mind set
