Job Outline:

An office-based role responsible for coordinating and supporting Health & Safety activities across the EMEA region, based at the Headquarters. The role requires a proactive, detail oriented individual with strong knowledge of, and interest in, Health & Safety. The Health & Safety Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Employee Safety, Wellness and Environment Manual, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and applicable EMEA regulatory requirements.

Working closely with the EMEA Facilities Manager, HR, external consultants, and teams across multiple locations, the successful candidate will help ensure regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and the promotion of a positive safety culture across the region. A strong service ethic, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential for success in this role.

What the role involves:

  • Support the Facilities Manager, EMEA in the delivery of Facilities services across EMEA, including reception, workplace operations, security, post room, and general administration.
  • Ensure consistent and professional front of house service at the EMEA Headquarters.
  • Support housekeeping and hospitality standards to maintain a high quality working environment.
  • Provide administrative support for EMEA office data, lease activity, and portfolio reporting.
  • Support procurement activities, including purchase order generation, approvals, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health & Safety policies, procedures, and Safe Systems of Work across EMEA.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with UK legislation, EMEA regulatory requirements, and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards.
  • Support risk assessments, statutory inspections, audits, and site inspections.
  • Manage incident, accident, and near miss reporting, including investigation support and corrective action tracking.
  • Coordinate Health & Safety training, inductions, emergency planning, and contractor compliance.
  • Function as a key point of contact for Health & Safety queries and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Support Environmental and ESG initiatives, including data collection, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Assist with tracking environmental performance metrics, including energy and waste.
  • Support wider Facilities and business initiatives as required.
  • Provide out of hours support where necessary.
  • To assist in moving office furniture and prepare meeting rooms if required.
  • Additional project or duties as Management may require at times.

Do you have:

  • Experience in a Health & Safety or related role; IOSH qualification (or working towards) desirable.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations, ideally across EMEA.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
