Future Electronics is currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with Passive electromagnetics experience to join our EMEA team. Job Outline:

The prime responsibility of the Passive Electromagnetic Business Development Manager (BDM) is to drive Future's success across this portfolio across EMEA. The role requires a deep understanding of the different technologies within this space, acting as a subject matter expert to accelerate growth. To be commercially astute with strong negotiation skills, developing and executing on a business plan for specific technologies, suppliers, and customers, including sales growth programmes through demand creation, is fundamental.

This will require a comprehensive understanding of the direction and requirements of the EMEA organisation to drive profitable sales and demand creation growth. The ability to understand the various supplier product offerings and how to position this both technically and commercially to accelerate the adoption of the newest and best technology available to the customer base through Future will be fundamental. A strong customer service ethic to support sales combined with the capacity to provide commercial and technical assistance will enable a sustained business engagement strategy. The role is active with significant customer-facing visits where suppliers' technologies can be clearly positioned across EMEA.

What the role involves:

  • Support the Demand Creation (CRM) activity on passive electromagnetic technologies with technical resources available and review processes to help ensure that demand creation metrics are achieved.
  • Drive activities relating to this technology within the dedicated customer base.
  • Effectively take to market key supplier NPI’s for products in the magnetic portfolio.
  • Support the sales organisation with commercial and technical assistance as required.
  • Develop, execute, and measure strategic customer-driven programmes.
  • Replicate success where we have significant wins in similar applications.
  • Produce collateral and tools to enable the success of the passive electromechanical portfolio in the field.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain successful relationships with suppliers.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and technical community to ensure cohesive customer and supplier strategies.
  • Have a strong appreciation of the focus supplier’s needs and objectives strategically and tactically.
  • Fully understand each supplier’s product portfolio relevant to customer applications and position with the sales and technical teams.
  • Take responsibility for carrying out/facilitating appropriate training of marketing and technical team in the region.
