We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with Automotive & Transportation or Aerospace & Defence knowledge and sales experience to join our team here at Future, Egham, Surrey. The prime responsibility of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to drive Future’s success within Automotive & Transportation or Aerospace & Defence. To be commercially astute with strong negotiation skills, developing and executing on a business plan for specific technologies, suppliers and customers, including sales growth programs through demand creation is fundamental.

  • Driving business development activities for Automotive & Transportation OR Aerospace & Defence customers, aligned with Future Electronics’ strategic market focus.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities and customer projects in close collaboration with regional sales and technical teams.
  • Actively expanding strategic target accounts, ensuring structured account penetration and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Several years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the electronics distribution or the dedicated environment.
  • A solid understanding of and proven success in the Automotive & Transportation / Aerospace & Defence market, including OEMs, Tier‑1 / Tier‑2 suppliers, and technology trends.
  • Proven success in developing new business, managing complex sales cycles, and driving design‑win activity.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
