Job Title: SEN Teacher – KS4 (PMLD and Complex Needs) Location: Lambeth, London Are you driven by the desire to support students facing profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs? Do you possess the skills and dedication necessary to deliver tailored education to KS4 learners? If so, we encourage you to apply for the SEN Teacher position in Lambeth. We are currently recruiting for a prestigious SEN School in Lambeth who cater to students with a variety of special educational needs. The School aims to empower KS4 students with PMLD and complex needs to reach their full potential across all aspects of development. As a SEN Teacher in this School, you will be teaching KS4 students who have PMLD and/or complex needs. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support. This is a full-time, permanent role to start as soon as possible. The salary will be equal to the main Teachers’ pay scale plus SEN points. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) and the national curriculum. Utilise various teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students with PMLD and complex needs. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes independence and self-esteem. Assess and monitor students’ progress. . Establish strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, maintaining open communication and offering support as needed. Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications. Demonstrate experience working with KS4 students with PMLD and complex needs. Possess a solid understanding of special educational needs (SEN) principles, methodologies, and best practices. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual student needs effectively.
