Future Education is looking for a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher for a maternity cover starting in April 2025 at one of our partner secondary schools. Role information: Science Teacher Maternity Cover (April 2025 – July 2025) A Qualified Science Teacher who can teach all 3 sciences at KS3/4 level or a Chemistry Specialist who can teach Chemistry up to KS5. Full-time Role expectation: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. Mark and assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback. Actively participate in the Science department's development and activities. Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential. NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply. Right to work in the UK. Proven experience teaching Science at KS3/4 level. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students. Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
