We are working in partnership with a leading UK developer who is looking to appoint a Project Manager to deliver a growing pipeline of cladding and fire safety remediation projects across Manchester. The business is delivering a number of complex remediation schemes and is looking for experienced Project Managers who can take responsibility for projects from the early stages through to completion and handover.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of your allocated project, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, quality, health & safety and client relationships. Typical projects will involve cladding replacement, façade remediation, fire stopping and wider building safety works on occupied residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management and delivery of cladding and fire safety remediation projects
- Managing Site Managers, subcontractors and specialist packages
- Monitoring programme, progress, quality and health & safety
- Coordinating with commercial, design and technical teams
- Managing client, consultant and resident/stakeholder relationships
- Chairing progress meetings and producing regular project reports
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard
- Managing projects through completion, handover and close-out
Experience Required
Previous experience delivering cladding, façades, external envelope, fire safety or building remediation projects would be highly advantageous. Experience working on occupied residential developments, high-rise buildings or complex refurbishment schemes would also be beneficial.
