Future Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading contractor specialising in façade, cladding, and external envelope works. They are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join their growing team, supporting projects across London and Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with site-based experience who is passionate about driving a positive safety culture and ensuring best practices across construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Provide practical, on-site support and guidance to project teams and operatives.
- Develop, review, and update method statements, risk assessments, and other key H&S documentation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of company-wide health and safety procedures.
- Investigate incidents, compile detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventative measures.
- Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and ongoing health and safety training.
- Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and enforcement bodies as required.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance across multiple live projects.
Requirements:
- IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
- Proven experience in a similar health and safety role within the construction industry
- Experience in façades, cladding, or external envelope works is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and current UK health and safety legislation
