Barclay Academy seeks to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Music who is confident in their subject area, with the vision and drive to motivate and enthuse students. The Music Department is a collaborative and experienced team, who are passionate about embedding an academically rigorous curriculum and assessment model across key stages. Applicants are expected to be confident at delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to deliver Music at KS5.
Barclay Academy was recently graded Good overall by Ofsted, with Outstanding for Leadership and Management, as well as Personal Development. We are continually developing an academic culture at Barclay Academy where the highest standards are expected of students and staff. Applications are welcomed from ECTs, and also from those offering more experience. A TLR is negotiable for additional responsibilities at department/whole school level.
