Westover Green Community School and Autism Centre is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher to join us at our new SEN Provision Unit, to be responsible for the teaching, learning and management of the pupils within the SEN Provision Unit. You’ll be part of a supportive and ambitious team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has successfully completed their ECT two-year Induction programme
  • Has experience of working with children with Autism and/or EHCPs is desirable
  • Has a good knowledge of the National Curriculum with a good understanding of Assessment for Learning practice
  • Has the ability to establish good relationships within the team, with other colleagues and with pupils
  • Has a positive approach to school self-evaluation and an insistence on high standards
  • Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community
  • Shares our belief that every child deserves the very best opportunities
