Cheddar Grove Primary School is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract to join our team to cover a secondment. This is an exciting opportunity to support the learning, independence and wellbeing of pupils, ensuring every child can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience success. Initially you will be based in our EYFS supporting an individual pupil with identified needs.

You’ll be part of a supportive and ambitious team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. You’ll join colleagues who work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where staff and pupils thrive together.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Good standard of education (5 x GCSE’s – English and Maths C or above) or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Ability to plan and implement effective actions for children at risk of underachieving
  • Natural communicator with the ability to relate well to both children and adults
