This is a full-time, on-site Contracts Manager role based in London. The Contracts Manager will oversee the contractual aspects of residential development projects from pre-contract through to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with contractors, suppliers, and professional consultants, ensuring terms are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company objectives. The role involves monitoring contract performance, managing variations and claims, maintaining up-to-date contract records, and supporting project teams with contractual advice and risk mitigation. The Contracts Manager will collaborate with construction, commercial, legal, and finance teams to support procurement, cost control, and timely project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with external partners.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering construction or property-related contracts.
  • Solid understanding of UK construction law, standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC), and relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project coordination and stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
